OUTLINED EXAMINATION PATTERN: CLAT UG 2024

You should expect to read passages in this section that are not more than 450 words. - Apply these principles and precepts to different factual circumstances and
- Recognize how modifications to the principles or precepts may affect different factual circumstances.
The Section on “LOGICAL REASONING”
The CLAT UG 2024 examination of the Logical Reasoning section will consist of many brief paragraphs, each weighing in at roughly 450 words.
This section can pose between 22-26 questions in total.
There will be a couple of questions after each paragraph that require you to:
- Acknowledge the argument’s grounds, logic, and conclusions
- Read the passage and underline the arguments it makes
- Analyze patterns of reasoning carefully, consider how conclusions might depend on specific assumptions or evidence, and consider how conclusions might be solidified or weakened by changing the assumptions or supporting information
- Make connections and comparisons, spot inconsistencies and equivalencies, and evaluate the efficacy of arguments.
The Section on “QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES”
Short collections of facts, propositions, or other written representations of numerical data will be included in the section on quantitative techniques of the CLAT UG 2024 exam.
This section can pose between 10-14 questions in total.
You must answer the following questions which are required to:
- Determine, deduce, and begin working with the numerical data presented in these sections and
- Apply a range of 10th-grade mathematical operations on this data, encompassing topics like statistical calculation, basic algebra, ratios and proportions, and mensuration.
There is no perfect time to begin CLAT 2024 preparation.
