SLAT PATTERN AND SYLLABUS
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is conducted every year by the Symbiosis International University for admission to UG programs in Symbiosis. This is a computer-based examination process for the selection of students for a five-year integrated law course.
Eligibility: The candidate must have received at least 45% (or 40% for S.C. / S.T. candidates) in the XII examination from any recognized University. Students who successfully passed their XII final exam but have not yet received their results may still register as long as they provide a provisional passing certificate when applying for final admission.
Pattern of Examination
As per the examination pattern-
• The examination mode is a computer-based examination.
• The Symbiosis International University has reduced the number of questions and SLAT duration of time to 60.
• The test medium is English.
• The questions are all multiple-choice questions.
• The MCQ consists total of 60 marks. One question one mark. No negative marking.

• Logical Reasoning – 12 MCQ (12 marks)
• Legal Reasoning- 12 MCQ (12 marks)
• Analytical Reasoning- 12 MCQ (12 marks)
• Reading Comprehension- 12 MCQ (12 marks)
• General Knowledge- 12 MCQ (12 marks)
